Following the advice of Mr. Vito I am forwarding my application for a position as a Research Assistant to a Junior Economist in your Economic Projections department to you directly.
I met Matt in August of 2006 for guidance on how best to prepare myself for a successful career in economics as I enter my last year of high school. I was particularly interested in working for the Bank of ABC since it was (and still is, as you know) the country's most well respected financial institution, and it is considered to be a very challenging and rewarding place to work.
I followed much of the advice that Matt gave me, studying Economics and Mathematics at UofT and getting relevant volunteer experience. I was in charge of Finance for the University of Toronto Economics Students Association (UTESA) my first two years at UofT and I was elected president my third year. As President I showed excellent leadership skills and financial prowess, leading the organization to hold more financially and qualitatively successful events than any previous year in the club's 20 year history. During all of this I excelled academically, remaining on the Dean's list since my first year.
