"Oh. Now I understand. From what you were saying before I got the impression you thought you were special," she said to me. After she said that I was confused. She got the impression I thought I was special because of what I said? The impression? I was just being honest and straight-forward - I am special! Aren't you?

The simple truth is this: If you don't even think you are special, who else do you expect to think so (parents not included)? You know your plans, dreams, secret desires, and principles more intimately than anyone else. If no one else is impressed by you, at least you should be.

Why not live your life with the knowledge that every single person is special, and people will realize that you are special too?
